Feeding: Feeding the needy is a chance to promote compassion by partnering with church organizations, police departments, and assisted living complexes to name a few to assist in identifying those families in need in their communities. We will partner with various retail and grocery markets to provide perishable and non-perishable items donated. Initially, we will provide box items, then working towards providing hot meals twice a day.
Mentoring/Tutoring: RLF will partner with one grammar and one high school in various neighborhoods in the inner city of Chicago. Scholarships will be provided. We will offer educational supplies to promote further education. RLF will solicit professional individuals to allow students to shadow in their prospective career goals. We will also solicit companies to donate desk and laptops, school supplies, SAT/ACT preparation courses, GED preparation, writing skills, self-esteem, and self-worth building workshops.
The benefits of mentoring communities will convey the foundation cares about the wellbeing of the community and our willingness to invest in his/her future.
The mentors will assist each mentee in areas of struggling through school, peer pressure or just life in general life stressors.
Life Coaching: This service will be offered via the Internet for short term individually or group sessions. The life coach’s mission is to create positive change in the lives of individuals. The life coach will provide tools to promote positive change that the person has more desire to focus on at that time where he or she has lost the ability to focused on personal goals such as relationships, time management, work-life balance, stress reduction, simplification, health, etc.
Intake and Assessment: Will be completed by a clinician, designated personnel, and social worker consisting of drug testing and psychological stability. All prescribed medication will be evaluated and placed in a locked cabinet to prevent any accidental ingestion.
